The Cornish Pasty was the perfect meal for Tin miners in Cornwall, England. This variation of the traditional hand pie was made with meat filling in one end and a fruit filling on the other - dinner and dessert all in one!
They were often called "half and half" pasties.
Our take on the Half N' Half Pasty features our classic Beef Pasty with local grass fed beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, and rutabaga on one end. On the other end are fresh apples with a touch of cinnamon and sugar!
Delicious even if you didn't spend the day in the mines!
